  1. The shark is a preditory cartilaginous FISH,
  2. found in all seas but most abundant in warm
  3. waters. The shark family includes the worlds
  4. largest and fiercest fish. Many sharks have a
  5. wedged shaped head, a long body and a 
  6. triangular back fin that often sticks out of
  7. the water. Their skeletons are made of 
  8. rubbery gristle, not bone. They vary greatly
  9. in size ranging from 60cm to the longest 
  10. being 15m, as long as two buses put together.
  11. The largest shark is the whale shark. 
  12. The whale shark and the basking shark are
  13. harmless to people and other animals because
  14. they live on plankton. Many other sharks are
  15. cruel hunters with rows of razor sharp teeth.
  16. Several will attack humans, the greediest
  17. monster, the great white shark, swallows its 
  18. prey complete. The remains of big animals 
  19. such as large horses, seals and other sharks
  20. have been found in its stomach. Other 
  21. dangerous sharks are the blue shark, the 
  22. tiger shark and the leopard shark which has
  23. leopard like spots. The smell of blood in 
  24. water can cause sharks to attack anything
  25. nearby , even other sharks. 
  26. Tanned sharkskin is a durable LEATHER.
